Reiki is a gentle, holistic practice that utilises the guidance of universal energy in the passage of healing between the healer and healee. It originated in Japan with Mikao Usui (1865-1926). Reiki can be used on the whole body, individual areas or remotely as distance healing and works on the 4 levels of physical, emotional, mental and spiritual healing. 


During session the healer channels universal energy through their hands being intuitively guided to areas where this rejuvenating energy is most needed.


There are varying factors that may effect our direct energy flow which can make us feel fatigued, low in energy, experience pain, discomfort, sense disconnection or become poorly. Some of these factors arise from poor diet, busy lifestyles, lack of sleep or disrupted sleep routines, sickness, low mood, negative habits, lack of exercise and many other factors.


Reiki supports the rebalance of the bodies energy channels. It can initiate relaxation, repair, calm and relieve stress, help maintain positive energy, clear blockages and aid in the removal of toxins held in stagnant energy points.
